MEAL DELIVERY
AWARE provides healthy meals for women such as homeless mothers, English students, underprivileged teens & female veterans.
FUNDRAISERS
Help plan events – from venue selection, décor, auctions, entertainment and food to helping on site – there is always lots to do!
AWARE KIDS
Girls & boys of all ages hold bake sales, book sales and make items such as blankets or cookies for families in need. High School volunteers help at fundraising and volunteer events. AWARE has an active club at Staples High School in Westport.
CRAFTS
Crafts such as jewelry making, tie-dying or painting pottery provide a way to connect with women at homeless facilities, schools & other programs.
ONE-ON-ONE
AWARE members volunteer directly with women, teens and girls facing challenges such as homelessness, poverty, learning English, newly arriving in America and unemployment.
COLLECTIONS
Food, clothing and supply drives happen based on the needs of women in our community.
EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS
AWARE offers workshops on women’s empowerment, nutrition, yoga, cooking and more.
